Palos Hills police made several arrests and are investigating a pair of thefts that occurred in late April and early May, according to department reports.

A man was arrested Aug. 28 on an outstanding warrant stemming from an incident in the 10300 block of Roberts Road, police said.

Erika E. Saavedra-Fernandez, 32, of Lansing, was charged with driving a vehicle with revoked registration following an arrest April 28 in the 8400 block of West 111th Street. She was also cited for other traffic offenses, police said.

Yohana Isa, 32, of Oak Lawn, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop May 3 in the 8700 block of West 95th Street. Isa was also cited for other traffic offenses, police said.

Palos Hills police are investigating the theft of a package containing shoes reported stolen from a porch in the 11000 block of Eagle Drive on April 30. The homeowner said they were notified of the delivery that day but the package was gone when they arrived home.

Scrap metal worth approximately $550 was reported stolen from a truck parked in a community lot in the 8500 block of West 103rd Terrace on May 1. Police are investigating.
