Franciszek Dzielski, a Polish immigrant who devoted his life to his family, died April 27, 2026. He was 89.
Mr. Dzielski is survived by his wife, Helena Dzielski; two children, Stanislawa Mikos and Krzysztof Dzielski; four grandchildren, Dorota Mikos, Michael Dzielski, Thomas Dzielski and Sarah Dzielski; and two great-grandchildren, Franuś Dzielski and Ania Dzielski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Karolina and Michal Dzielski; his siblings, Stanislaw Bartyzoł, Maria Kulawiak and Jozef Dzielski; and his grandson, Michael Dzielski.
A visitation will be held Friday, May 1, 2026, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 South 88th Avenue, Justice, Illinois.
A funeral Mass will be held Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady Mother of the Church Polish Mission, 116 Hilton Street, Willow Springs, Illinois. Prayers and a procession will begin from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m.
Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois.
