Graciela Aguilar, 60, of Corpus Christi, Texas, was charged March 31 with three felony counts of retail theft, one count of resisting arrest and one count of obstructing identification after police said she attempted to steal nearly $1,200 worth of tools from Home Depot.

Police responding to a theft in progress call arrested Aguilar, who matched the description of a person who had just stolen numerous tools from the store while walking through the parking lot.

She ignored the police officer’s orders to stop and began yelling “I didn’t do anything” as she kept walking, police said.

Aguilar gave police several bogus names when asked for identification. She was eventually identified by her fingerprints.

Police said Aguilar had three active warrants for retail theft from other departments.
