A 26-year-old Orland Park man was charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer and one count of aggravated resisting arrest after police responded to his home for a domestic disturbance.
Daniel Schmidt, of the 8600 block of West 142nd Street, resisted arrest and attacked officers April 12 who attempted to take him into custody, police said.
As a result of the incident, two officers received non-life-threatening injuries. Both officers were treated at Northwestern Palos Community Hospital and released.
