“People will do just about anything to get their hands on a Resese’s Peanut Butter Cup,” so the commercial goes. But Jaccarin Wiley, 19, of the 16100 block of Avalon Avenue, South Holland, actually did something he shouldn’t have done and was charged March 23 with theft by employee, police said.
Wiley was an employee of Lowe’s at 15601 S. LaGrange Road in Orland Park when police said on separate occasions he activated and stole five $50 PlayStation gift cards, took $65 cash from the register and took $40 cash while processing a return.
And on yet another occasion, Wiley took a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup while helping himself to $150 from the cash register, police said. Wiley was given a lifetime ban from Lowe’s.
