Our hearts are broken to announce the passing of Ma De Los Angeles Cervantes, who graced this earth for 85 years and passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 13, 2026. She was the loving mother of Angela Ortega, Sandra Nuñez, Pedro Ortega, Edgar (Lorena) Solis, Karla (Cristian), the late Gloria Elena Ortega, and Ruth D. Nuñez. Cherished by all as “Mami Angela,” she was a guiding light to her family and countless others.
A woman of deep faith, Mami Angela instilled the values of family, hard work, kindness, and integrity in all who knew her. Her warmth, love, and devotion touched everyone around her and created a legacy that will live on through her children, grandchildren, and the many whose lives she enriched.
Visitation: Friday, February 20, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 West Archer Ave. (55th Street just west of Harlem).
Additional Visitation: Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 8:30 AM until time of Prayers at 9:15 AM.
Mass: Saturday, 10:00 AM at St. Blasé Church.
Interment: Following Mass, Mami Angela will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.
