Evergreen Park Mayor Kelly Burke and the village board honored Bryan Missey as the “Employee of the Year” for 2025 during Monday’s village board meeting.

Missey had received an Employee of the Quarter honor last year. He has served as the IT technician for the village since 2013.

Missey was nominated by Tom Mullally, the IT director for the village.

“Bryan consistently demonstrates a high level of knowledge and expertise, ensuring that technology systems run smoothly and that staff receive timely, effective support,” Mullally said. “His strong work ethic and commitment to excellence set a positive example for others.”

Burke agreed with those sentiments and said that Missey’s commitment goes beyond his IT skills. She added that he is always available to address any problems when they occur and is always eager to assist everyone.

The mayor presented Missey with a plaque award and a gift certificate for a local business.
