The McCord Gallery & Cultural Center kicked off its Annual Holiday Shoppe Nov. 19, welcoming visitors to browse unique, handcrafted gifts from local artisans.
The event offered a warm, festive atmosphere where guests could mingle with other members, sip wine, nibble on treats and discover one-of-a-kind treasures perfect for the holiday season.
Members of the gallery enjoyed a special Member Night, gaining early access to the shop and a 10% discount on purchases. The gallery is located at 9602 W. Creek Road in Palos Park.
In addition to holiday shopping, McCord serves as a drop-off location for the annual Toys for Tots campaign, partnering with local businesses, Kurland Insurance Agency, based out of Orland Park, to collect new, unwrapped toys for children in need.
The Holiday Shoppe remains open to the public until Dec. 24: Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s the perfect opportunity for the community to find thoughtful gifts, support local artists and embrace the holiday spirit.
