Consuelo Therapeutic Services celebrated its official opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, November 4, at its new Oak Lawn location. The business officially opened on October 28.
The clinic, located at 4550 West 103rd Street, Suite 203, is the second location for the practice, which began in Waukegan. It is owned by Patricia Perez, LCSW, CADC, MAATP, of Homer Glen, and Leticia Sustaita, of Lemont, who serves as the business’s comptroller. The two have been friends and colleagues for many years, both growing up in Chicago.

“We chose Oak Lawn because we wanted a place that was peaceful and tranquil,” Patricia said.
Operating under the goal of “Working together for a Stronger You,” the clinic provides mental health services in a safe environment for reflection, personal growth, and healing. Whether clients are seeking guidance, dealing with a specific challenge, or pursuing long-term support, Consuelo Therapeutic Services emphasizes warmth, compassion, and respect.
Therapeutic services include outpatient therapy for youths, adults, and couples and families facing trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, anger, stress management, and marriage-related challenges. Behavioral health support, including gambling and substance abuse counseling, is also available. Services are offered in both English and Spanish.
The facility also contracts with other agencies to provide behavioral health services in clinical supervision, early childhood, self-care, professional development, and business support. Additionally, it offers immigration hardship evaluations and counseling to address the mental health impact on petitioning sponsors or individuals applying for legal residency with a U Visa waiver.
Perez serves as the main therapist on-site, bringing extensive experience in mental health and addiction counseling. The clinic’s professional and friendly approach empowers patients, reinforcing its commitment to supporting residents seeking therapeutic and behavioral health services in a welcoming environment.
