Locals are invited to roll up their sleeves and help transform the Halsted viaduct into a vibrant symbol of community pride.
Artist Anna Piszczor is leading the creation of the “Bridgeport is for Everyone” mural on both sides of the viaduct just south of Halsted and Archer—and she wants you to be part of it.
No painting experience is needed, and all are welcome to join. Youth under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
The community paint days are set for tomorrow and October 26, from noon to 3 p.m. in the 2500 block of south Halsted Street, under the viaduct.
