Three Ohio residents were charged earlier this month in connection with opening up Kohl’s credit cards with fake identification cards after they left the store and drove away, Orland Park police said.
Police stopped the car a short distance away.
David Miller, of Maple Heights, used the credit cards to purchase four $250 gift cards from Sephora, police said. Miller was charged with theft by deception, identity theft, possession of fraudulent ID cards and possession of cannabis, police said.
Carlin Mitchell, of Richmond Heights, was charged with possession of fraudulent ID cards, improper lane usage, improper turn at an intersection and no valid driver’s license, police said.
Kennady Walker, of Palmerville, Ohio, was charged with obstructing justice, police said.
