Oak Lawn Trustee Paul Mallo (3rd) said that the village, along with the staff at the Midnight Terror Haunted House, will again host the Halloween Decorating Contest. Residents are encouraged to show their decorated houses for the contest.
An Arts & Events Commission panel, along with staff from Midnight Terror, 5520 W. 111th St., will evaluate the registered decorated houses. Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants. Winners will be announced on the village website and social medial platforms on Thursday, Oct. 30
The registration deadline is noon Friday, Oct. 24. Prizes will be presented to the winners during a village board meeting at a later date.

Please ensure that your decorations do not obstruct sidewalks, driveways, or traffic in any way. Keep electrical cords and decorations secure to prevent accidents.
