Bronislaw “Bruno” Wolak, a U.S. Marine veteran of Vietnam remembered for his generosity and devotion to family, died Sept. 16, 2025. He was 75.
Wolak was born Jan. 19, 1950, in Nowy Sącz, Poland, to Otylia and Jan Wolak. He is survived by his wife, Krystyna, as well as his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family, including his sisters, brother and sister-in-law.
He was known for his warmth, wisdom and loyalty, and family said his kindness will live on through those who knew him.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium, 7861 S. 88th Ave., Justice.
Prayers will be said at 9:15 a.m. Friday, Sept. 19, at the funeral home, followed by a procession to St. Albert the Great Church, 8029 S. Central Ave., Burbank, for a 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment will be at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice.
