For two nights this month, the skies over Bridgeview’s SeatGeek Stadium will be aglow and alive with the sights and sounds of the magical open-air concert known as the DroneArt Show.

Back by popular demand and billed as a “Concert in the Sky,” the 65-minute audio and visual masterpiece allows visitors of all ages to immerse themselves in a magical evening where classical music meets cutting-edge technology.

Beneath a candlelit sky, a talented string quartet performs masterpieces — including Debussy’s The Snow is Dancing, Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake while a breathtaking drone show turns the air into a canvas of lights and colors.

For example, in Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, arcing flight paths of the drones create the illusion of a swan’s graceful movements. As a cello’s melody grows more melancholic, the flock of drones clusters and dims, expressing sorrow through visual density.

The shows will begin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 25, and Saturday, September 27, at SeatGeek Stadium, 7000 S. Harlem Ave., Bridgeview.
