On Saturday, the annual Fall Fest Parade steps off at 11:30 a.m., followed by the car show, carnival, Monee Police Department K-9 demonstration, Craft and Business Show, and Senior Tent.

Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

The carnival will feature an unlimited ride special – $30 per person per day – on Saturday and Sunday, from 1 to 5 p.m.

Rides for persons with special needs will be from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday.

Bands on Saturday include Bad Intentions, Blooze Brothers, Gold Dust Dreams, and The Moods.

On Sunday, the Monee Alliance of Churches will host a pancake breakfast from 9 to 10:45 a.m., with a worship service at 11 a.m.

The unveiling of the Marie LeFevre Bailly statue will take place at 12:30 p.m., at 5511 Court Street.

The Craft and Business Show reopens at 1 p.m., while Return to Soul performs rhythm and blues at 3 p.m.

“We are having a Sting Ray Encounter over the weekend, and it is free to attend,” said Dianna Kroll, Monee Parks and Recreation director.

“We don’t have the specific show times they will be holding all weekend. They make them when they arrive in town. As soon as they give them to us, we post them. Everything is the same set -up as last year. Craft show vendors are inside the Monee Education Center. We have the Monee PD K9 demonstration, weather permitting. We don’t want him to get injured if it’s too hot or the ground is too wet.

“We also have 13 food trucks/vendors that will be on Court Street, serving a variety of foods. There is a designated Uber drop off/pick up spot in the front of the MEC.

“We want to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and safe time at the fest and will be enforcing (the attendance ordinance),” she added. “Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian after 6 p.m. on festival grounds.

“No masks are allowed, except for medical reasons.”
