Two women were arrested and charged July 14 for taking more than 100 items worth around $4,000 from several stores in Orland Park and Tinley Park, police said.
Latisha Reyna, 34, of the 4700 block of South Damen Ave., Chicago, was charged with felony retail theft and possession of stolen property while Tania Reyna, 48, of the 3600 block of West 123rd St., Alsip, was charged with possession of stolen property and driving with expired registration and driving with an expired license, police said.
Police said that the two women were involved in thefts at Kohl’s, Macy’s, Bath & Body Works and Old Navy. Latisha was identified in a photo lineup as the person who stole the items while Tanya was the driver of the vehicle, police said.
I am under the impression that many retail employees in Tinley and Orland are told by management to look the other way when known retail thieves come into their stores, and just watch the theft!
Throw the book at these women!! They are part of the problem not part of the solution.
