On July 12, Peotone Police responded to a report of a traffic accident with no injuries in the 500 block of Rathje Road. Upon arrival, officers confirmed there were no injuries and spoke with the involved driver. The individual stated that while backing up, they accidentally struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. A property damage accident report was completed.
On July 13, officers were dispatched to a reported domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Schroeder Avenue. Upon arrival, officers could hear an argument taking place. Contact was made with both individuals involved. Both parties stated the incident was verbal only, with no physical altercation. Officers observed no signs of physical injury. The parties agreed to remain separated for the evening, and no further police assistance was requested.
On July 17, Peotone Police responded to a disturbance involving two individuals, one reportedly yelling at the other from outside a vehicle, in the 200 block of Second Street. Upon arrival, both parties were found outside the vehicle, engaged in a verbal argument. They confirmed there was no physical altercation and requested no further assistance. Both individuals left the area without further incident.
