On July 16, officers were in the 500 block of West North when they observed a black Dodge Dakota with suspended registration. Officers spoke to Edward B. Stapinski, 50, of Joliet, and learned his driver’s license was revoked. Officers arrested Stapinski and issued citations for driving while license revoked and operating a vehicle when registration is suspended for non-insurance. Stapinski was assigned an initial court date of August 22 at the Will County Courthouse.
