Get ready for a night of knockout action as Hitz Boxing brings Boxing Under the Stars to Bridgeview’s SeatGeek Stadium on Saturday, July 19, at 6 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m.
Because of weather forecasts of storms, the event has been moved from Seat Geek Stadium to the adjacent Bridgeview Sports Dome, which shares the parking lot with Seat Stadium.
Eleven fighters will enter the ring including Chicago’s very own talent fighters, currently undefeated champions, and rising international boxing stars.
Illinois natives include Deontae “the Handsome Heavyweight” Pettigrew, Eddie “ENO” Olivares, Lukas Moldenhauer, Kevin Cox, Talia Halvorsen, and Lane Hanlin. Moldenhauer currently trains at Tri-City Boxing & Muay Thai in St. Charles. Olivares and Hanlin both train at Rick Ramos Boxing Gym in Chicago. Meanwhile, Halvorsen trains at Gregory Boxing and Muay Thai in Des Plaines.
Non-local boxers include Marlon Harrington (Michigan), Andre Sherard (Wisconsin), Alfred Ratcliff (Oklahoma), Kewin Gibas (Poland), and Hunter Lee (Canada). With stellar careers including KO’s and numerous wins on the table, all contenders are currently training for their matchups throughout Boxing Under the Stars.
