On Monday, June 30, at approximately 5:55 a.m., the Bradley Police Department responded to a “911 call” at a residence in Bradley. Upon arrival, officers encountered three shooting victims inside the residence. All three victims were later pronounced deceased at the scene of what appears to be victims of a murder suicide.
In furthering the investigation, it was confirmed all three victims were related. The autopsy determined the cause of death was by firearm. Items collected at the scene gave all indications of the son being distraught and the incident being premeditated.
Victims were Wayne McCarty – 89, Patricia McCarty – 88, and Michael McCarty – 61. Currently, this appears to be an isolated incident, with no further threat to the community.
