Palos Park’s annual Hot Dog Day and Concert will not be in conflict this year with Palos Heights’ Classic Car Show.
In recent years, the two events have been held on the same day, which officials believe may have held down attendance at both events.
So, this year, Palos Park will host the hot dog event at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, on the Village Green, 8901 W. 123rd St.
The Classic Car Show in Palos Heights, which attracts hundreds of vehicles and thousands of guests, will take place the next day – Thursday, July 17, from 5-9 p.m.
The hot dog event will feature entertainment from ReTurn2Soul.
The Palos Heights Classic Car Committee is looking for volunteers to help that evening and also they need sponsors to help with the expenses of this fun evening. Last year, over 400 cars were registered. For more information, contact carclassic@palosheightspd.org
