Aldermen John Finn (1st), John Von Drasek (2nd) and Mark Benson (3rd) were each re-elected to four-year terms in April.
Von Drasek is now serving his sixth term in office, which makes him the longest serving alderman on the city council.
He will have been an alderman for 24 years at the end of this term. He has no plans to hang it up..
“I’ve still got the energy. I still have a lot of support, too,” he said. “I would like to thank everyone. I’d like to start with my wife.”
He also thanked the city staff, saying “without you guys our tasks would be a lot tougher,” and fellow city council members.
Dave Schutter was reappointed to the police pension board. Ronald Ward and Stephen Kehr were both reappointed to the plan commission/zoning board of appeals.
