On April 2, at 3:35 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Malik Rashed, 44, of Chicago Heights. Rashed was charged with operating a vehicle when his registration was suspended for non-insurance, driving while his license was suspended, and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released via his citations.

On April 3, at 1:45 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Caelen Newsome, 27, of Matteson. Newsome was charged with operating a vehicle when his registration was suspended for non-insurance, driving while his license was suspended, and operating an uninsured vehicle. Newsome was released via his citations.

On April 3, at 4:34 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Luis Sanchez, 48, of Evergreen Park. Sanchez was charged with failure to yield at the stop sign, failure to yield when turning left, having no valid license or permit, and operating an uninsured vehicle, then was released via his citations.

On April 5, at 2:27 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jordan Stewart, 26, of Chicago. Stewart was charged with speeding 26-34 mph over the limit, driving while his license was suspended, and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released via his citations.

On April 5, at 9:07 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Donovan Alston, 19, of Chicago. Alston was charged with driving without a valid license or permit and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released via his citations.

On April 13, at 1:42 a.m., Monee officers were alerted to a possible stolen vehicle at the Red Roof Inn. Upon further investigation, they found the car there and made contact with a subject identified as Lakhari Williams, 27, of Park Forest. Williams was arrested for theft over $10K and possession of a controlled substance, then released with a notice-to-appear.
