Victor J. Hyzny, a longtime resident of Bridgeview, Illinois, passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the age of 85.
He was the beloved husband of Irene Hyzny and the loving father of James Hyzny and Gary Hyzny. A proud grandfather, Victor cherished his grandchildren, Savannah Heemstra and Miranda Bostwick, and was a devoted great-grandfather to Jocelyn Lauzan, Anastasia Lauzan, and Lucas Bostwick. He was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Jessica Morgen Hyzny.
Victor will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, and all who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th Street just west of Harlem). A second visitation will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. A procession will follow to Resurrection Cemetery, where Victor will be laid to rest.
