Samuel M. Lange, a longtime resident of Chicago’s Clearing community, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2025, the day after his 76th birthday.
Sam was the devoted husband of the late Sharon (née Olsen) and the beloved son of the late William and Lena Lange (née Genardo). He was the dear brother of the late Gustav (Joan) Lange, the late Leonard (Toby) Lange, and Ann (late Ronald) Fletcher. Sam was also a fond uncle to nine, a great-uncle to eight, and a great-great-uncle to three. He was a true and loyal friend to many.
A visitation was held on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Foran Funeral Home. The following morning, prayers were said at the funeral home before a procession to St. Mary Star of the Sea Church for a funeral Mass. Sam was laid to rest at Bethania Cemetery next to his beloved wife, Sharon.
