  7. My visit to his funeral was the hardest thing I have done in years, knowing I was now loosing a best friend who’s respect and companionship made up several years of my life in Lyons. As a former Lyons Library Director, a job he convinced me to run in election for, one of many elections we shared, and as a business partner for several years, I learned he was truly devoted to his home town. The number of people at his viewing and the traffic ties caused by those still trying to get in, reminded me of all the people whos respect and admiration he had earned. I am surely among the many who will miss him my memories of our close friendship will always be a part of me until we meet again. My condolences to his Wife Anna and his entire family. Ken, you can finally rest! “Rick” Simeone, former business partner and friend.
