Robert E. Hess, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and member of the community, passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at the age of 84.
Robert was the beloved husband of Patricia (née Sperka) and the loving father of Michael (Kathleen) Hess, Carol (Timothy) Orozco, and Jeffery (Therese) Hess. He was the cherished grandfather of Timothy (Shaleigh) Orozco, Andrew (Melissa) Hess, Robert Orozco, Joseph (Kaitlyn) Orozco, and Christopher (Andrea) Hess. Robert was also a proud great-grandfather to Nicolas, Jaedyn, Laineigh, Lilli, Rylee, and Beckham. He was a fond brother-in-law to Bruno Sperka and a dear friend to many.
Visitation was held at the funeral home on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. until the time of prayers at 9:15 a.m. A procession followed to Two Holy Martyrs Parish, St. Rene Goupil Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Robert was laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery.
A proud member of the St. Fabian Parish Knights of Columbus, Robert was remembered for his unwavering faith, love of family, and commitment to service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions were requested to be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org in honor of Robert’s memory.
