St. Boniface and St. Paul the Apostle Catholic parishes will celebrate the installation of their pastor, the Rev. Thomas Milota, on Sunday, December 1.
St.Boniface in Monee will have the Installation Mass at 9 a.m., while St. Paul’s in Peotone will take place at 10:30 a.m.
Both Masses will be celebrated by Bishop Ronald Hicks of the Joliet Diocese. A dessert/hor d’oeuvres reception for both parishes will follow the Mass at St. Paul.
Fr. Milota began his appointment as pastor of the two parishes – an assignment he requested – on July 1.
He was ordained to the priesthood after living in Vatican City for eight years, where he earned two advanced degrees in Theology.
Prior to his dual assignment in Monee and Peotone, he served as pastor at Sacred Heart Parish in Lombard, Saints Peter and Paul in Naperville, and Saint Petronille in Glen Ellyn.
