New Lenox resident Miles Hagen, a Biology major at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, is one of five Warhawks selected to the All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference for the 2024 season.
The All-WIAC First Team included James Kiraly (Twin Lakes, WI/Wilmot Union), Aidian Martin (Menomonee Falls, Wis./Menomonee Falls), Cooper Re (Kimberly, Wis./Kimberly), and Hayden Saul (Iowa City, Iowa/Liberty). Miles Hagen (New Lenox/Lincoln-Way West) was named an honorable mention, with Luka Breslin (Dublin, Ireland/Terenure College) earning the spot on the All-Sportsmanship team.
Kiraly, a freshman forward, led the Warhawks in goals with eight. He ended the regular season on a high, while scoring a hat trick with three goals in the second half. Kiraly’s eight goals ranks third in the WIAC. He did all this despite only playing 320 minutes the entire season.
Martin, a sophomore midfielder, led the Warhawks with six assists to go with five goals through the regular season. Martin scored a game-winner for the Warhawks earlier in the season.
Re, a junior forward, was another scoring threat for the Warhawks. He totaled 12 points on the season (4 goals and 4 assists), ranking 15th in the WIAC.
Saul, a sophomore defender, led the Warhawks backline in the 2024 season. Saul totaled 1,245 total minutes, starting in 17 of 18 appearances. He scored four goals and dished out two assists throughout the season.
Hagen, a senior midfielder, was named to an honorable mention on the 2024 All-WIAC team. Hagen appeared in 19 games, starting in four of them. He collected three goals and four assists throughout the 2024 regular season.
The Warhawks reached the semifinals of the WIAC Tournament and finished the season with a 10-7-4 record.
