On October 27, at approximately 5:40 p.m., officers responded to a hit-and-run traffic crash in the Amazon lot on Monee-Manhattan Road. It was determined the crash was property damage only. The offender had left the scene after becoming argumentative. Officers took the witness statements and attempted to locate the offending vehicle. After conducting a follow up investigation, the driver and vehicle were identified and located. On November 2, at approximately 4 p.m., Marquel Wilson, 22, of Sauk Village, was arrested and charged with leaving the scene of an accident and no proof of insurance. He was processed and given a court date.
On October 28, at approximately 10 p.m., a suspended license plate led to the arrest of Edith Wright, 59, of Hammond, for driving while suspended and suspended registration. A passenger, Harvey Evans, 60, of Chicago, was found to have two Cook County Warrants for failure-to-appear. He was transported. Wright was cited and released.
On October 29, at 8:35 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Anthony Hall, 49, of Bolingbrook, for a suspended DL, suspended license plates, and no insurance. He was cited.
On October 31, at approximately 1 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Alexis Guy, 39, of Hammond, for a suspended DL, suspended license plates, and no insurance. She was cited.
On October 30, officers took a fraud report from a Monee subject who had sent approximately $90,000 in gift cards to someone she had an online relationship with, but had never met. Whether it’s email, a phone call, or postal, don’t give money to anyone you haven’t verified. We receive calls regularly asking us to verify emails or texts. We can’t do that, but we will give you information on how to verify the company you are dealing with. Legitimate companies don’t call and ask for personal information. Legitimate companies don’t ask you to transfer funds, purchase gift cards, or buy Bitcoin! Please ask someone you trust to help you before you lose your hard earned savings to some criminal in Romania…
On October 30, at approximately 6 p.m., officers responded to the 25900 block of Derby Drive for a fight in progress. Upon arrival officers had to disperse a crowd of 10-12 individuals, who were arguing and threatening each other. When officers were able to ascertain the cause of the disturbance, they located a 45-year-old female, who had been beaten severely with multiple facial contusions and lacerations. The victim stated an argument, over her talking to another man at work, led to her being struck multiple times with closed fist in the area of the head and neck. The suspect also kicked in her bedroom door to continue his assault. Norris Little, 35, of Monee, was immediately taken into custody by MPD. While the victim was attended to by Monee Fire, the suspect complained of pain in his hand and wrist. He was transported to St. James Hospital for treatment. Little was subsequently transferred to Will County Detention. The State’s Attorney’s office approved charges of aggravated domestic battery. Little also was found to have an outstanding warrant in Champaign County for failure-to-appear, driving while revoked.

On November 1, at approximately 10 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Prentiss Cannon Jr., 26, of Crete, for a suspended DL, suspended license plates, and improper lighting. He was cited.
On November 2, at approximately 6 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Keyshawn Eichelberger, 24, of Chicago, for a suspended DL, suspended license plates, tinted windows, and no insurance. He was cited.
