Beecher’s Lady Bobcats came out strong against the Bishop McNamara Fightin’ Irish in the regional finals on Thursday, October 31.
Taking the first set 25-18, Elena Kvasnicka had 13 kills. Also scoring for the Bobcats were Sophie Pelton with 6 kills, and Mallory Berry, who tallied 10. Meghan Dabrowski also recorded 12 digs, while Emily Avelar added 10 to her stats.
The Lady Bobcats lost the second set, 18-25, which then resulted in the third set, which was a hard-fought battle. It seemed like no one wanted to win, but in the end, the Lady Bobcats fell 21-25.
The Lady Bobcats finished their season at 24-11 overall and 10-0 in the RVC. They also took the River Valley Conference Championship. Congratulations, it was a great season!
