SNAP Help, from 1 – 4 p.m., adults: A SNAP Outreach Case Manager from Respond Now will assist people with the Illinois Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), also known as Food Stamps or Link Card. First come, first served. Sign in upon arrival.
Silent Book Club, from 6 – 7:30 p.m., adults: Join us to read together in quiet camaraderie, with the book of your choice. A short discussion follows an hour of reading. Drop in.

AARP Smart Driver, from noon – 4 p.m., adults: An AARP Instructor will lead this two-day class, specifically designed for drivers age 50 and older. The cost is $20 for AARP members and $25 for nonmembers. The fee is due on the first day of class. The class continues on Friday, November 8, from noon – 4 p.m. Register.
Knot Just for Knitters, from 1 – 2 p.m., ages 11/adult: Join us to socialize while working on knitting, crocheting, or any other type of needlework project. Drop in.
STEAM Tweens – Paleontologist Pursuit, from 6 – 7 p.m., grades third/fifth: Through an interactive scavenger hunt, we will learn about important paleontologists, their discoveries, and what a paleontologist’s job entails. Register.
