Another solid win over the Lisle Lions, 42-10, secured the Peotone Blue Devils a playoff spot again. They’re 5-3 on the season and play their last game of the regular season at home against the Herscher Tigers, who are 4-4 and 3-3 in the conference.
Quarterback Ruben Velasco had 2 carries and 5 attempts for 38 yards.
Junior Tucker Cain had 15 carries for 140 yards and 2 touchdowns, senior Chase Rivera tallied 11 carries for 135 yards and 3 touchdowns, and senior Dalton Sala also added 3 carries for 33 yards and a touchdown. Other notable contributions came from Senior Connor Pasch with 8 carries for 72 yards and sophomore Nick Cronin with 5 carries for 34 yards..
Receiving yard contributions came from Rorey Hart with 24, and Chase Rivera with 14.
Sophomore Nick Cronin led with 4 solo tackles and 3 assists, senior Eric Meltz had 3 and 4 assists, while senior Connor Pasch had 2 and 6 assists.
