United Way of Kankakee and Iroquois Counties is hosting a “No Fear Fundraising” training created as a free resource for all area nonprofits. This event will be held Thursday, October 31, from 8:30 to 10 a.m., at Kankakee Community College, meeting room D124.
Nonprofit leaders, staff, and board members are invited to attend this free session, which will feature guest speakers Joe Giacchino, vice president with Thompson and Associates, and Nicole Smolkovich with the Community Foundation of Kankakee River Valley. Attendees will gain guidance on building an effective fundraising plan, learn from the experience of area fundraising experts, and practical tips for engaging their board in the fundraising process.
This training was created to empower any local nonprofit teams, who are needing support in growing their organization’s fundraising process. No RSVP is needed.
