On September 30, at approximately 8:49 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Basil F. McClain, 52, of Monee, for driving on a revoked driver’s license after being stopped for a registration violation. McClain was cited and released on a notice-to-appear.
On October 2, at approximately 11:55 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Manuel S. Zavala, 25, of Matteson, for driving while license suspended after being stopped for tinted windows. Zavala was cited and released on a notice-to-appear.
On October 2, at approximately 8:02 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Henry R. Saldivar, 49, of Manhattan, for driving while license suspended after being stopped for improper lane usage. Saldivar was cited and released on a notice-to-appear.
On October 3, at approximately 5:49 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Richard B. Rhymes, 18, of Chicago Heights, for no valid driver’s license after being stopped for a registration violation. Rhymes was cited and released on a notice-to-appear.
On October 3, at approximately 9:34 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jose L. Chalico-Barranca, 29, of Kankakee, for no valid driver’s license after being stopped for a registration violation. Chalico-Barranca was cited and released on a notice-to-appear.
On October 5, at approximately 3:42 a.m., officers responded to the intersection of Monee-Manhattan Road and I-57 to investigate a single vehicle accident. On scene, officers found the vehicle on the center median of Monee-Manhattan Road. During the investigation, officers determined the driver, Graciano Jimenez-Cartas, 31, of Sibley, was under the influence of alcohol. Jimenez-Cartas was charged with DUI-alcohol, aggravated DUI-no valid driver’s license, DUI-breath alcohol concentration above .08 or more, and improper lane usage. Jimenez-Cartas was processed and released.
