Details: Defacement of Property
Peotone Officer while on foot patrol in the 100 block of Second Street discovered defacement to the concrete sidewalk. After documenting and pictures of defacement for report the officer contacted local concrete worker in area. The worker was able to promptly remove the defacing image.

Details: Property Damage Accident
Peotone Officer was dispatched to report of a no injury accident. Upon arrival Officer met with both parties involved, both parties refused need for any medical assistance. Officer gathered information for completion of a Property Damage Accident Report and both parties drove away from the scene.

Location: S Harlem Ave / E Corning Ave
Details: Traffic Stop / Arrest
Peotone Officer effected a traffic stop on S Harlem Ave and E Corning Ave on a beige Toyota for only having one headlamp. Upon conducting a Driver’s License check was made aware the driver M/H, 21yoa did not have a valid driver’s license. The driver was then issued 2 citations; Improper Lighting (One Headlamp) and Operating a Motor Vehicle With No Valid License. He was issued a mandatory court date and released, the vehicle being towed from the scene.

Location: 300 Blk N Harlem
Details: Theft
Peotone Officers responded to report of that occurred in the 300 Blk N Harlem. Being given information the offender, F/W wearing purple shirt and sweatpants, left in a grey Buick sedan travelling northbound on Rt 50 minutes prior. Officers patrolled area in attempt to locate vehicle with negative results. Officer then responded to location of occurrence to gather all available information for completion of Theft Report.

Details: Verbal Domestic
Dispatch notified Officer of a Verbal Domestic occurring in the 900 Blk of W Bonnie. Upon Officer arrival he met with femalesubject in her driveway. She advised she had a verbal dispute with her boyfriend, who left by walking down the street. Officer located the male party walking and stopped to speak with him, he also advised it was just verbal. Officer observed no physical marks or injury on either. The male subject advised he was leaving the area for the day.
