On September 16, officers arrested Cody Dukes, 29, of Bourbonnais, after conducting a traffic stop at State and First Streets. During the traffic stop, it was learned Dukes had an arrest warrant out of Cook County for failing to appear on traffic charges. Dukes also was issued citations for driving while license suspended, operation of uninsured motor vehicle, improper lighting, and no license on person.
On September 20, officers cited James Marasco, 38, of Romeoville, for disorderly conduct. It was learned on the night of September 19, Marasco tampered with a tent and climbed on a railing to knock on a window at 225 S. State (Fritz Saloon), after being removed from the business for acting inappropriately.
On September 20, officers arrested Jessie A Cain, 31, of Frankfort, after conducting a traffic stop at Manhattan-Monee Road and Brynn for speeding. Cain also was issued a citation for driving while driver’s license was suspended.
On September 21, officers responded to a battery at 225 S. State (Fritz Saloon), outside of the establishment. Officers learned a female victim was thrown to the ground by an unknown female, who grabbed the back of her hair. The unknown female fled the scene prior to police arrival. Through investigation, it was learned the offender was Anna E. Morowczynski, 44, of New Lenox. Morowczynski later surrendered to police and was charged with aggravated battery on a public way.
