The City of Kankakee’s Economic and Community Development Agency (ECDA) will host the final Community Conversation of the year on Thursday, October 10, at 6 p.m., at the City Life Center, 1820 E. Court Street. The focus this month will be the presentation of potential goals and activities in the upcoming CDBG five-year plan, in addition to receiving feedback to submit to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Kankakeeans are encouraged to attend, with the purpose of providing personal perspectives about their neighborhoods, engage with neighbors, and learn more about programming available through the ECDA. An interpreter for our Spanish-speaking residents will be in attendance.
