Dr. Lewis-Thames is a health behavior and health promotion researcher with experience in using community-based approaches to examine individual- and community-level determinants of health that improve cancer disease management for rural residents and African Americans.
This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be available. The Kankakee Public Library is at 201 East Merchant Street in downtown Kankakee. Questions can be directed to the library at 815-939-4564.
