Peotone High School honored its golf team seniors on Tuesday, September 17. Congratulations to the following students.
Josh Barta, son of Chris and Jamie Barta, has been competing on the golf team for the past four years. Josh’s favorite PHS golf memory was going to Buddys after a match at Cardinal Creek. In the future, Josh plans to continue playing baseball in college and majoring in chemical engineering.
Mason Early, son of Robert and Erica Earley, has participated on the golf team for the past four years. Mason’s favorite memory from the golf team is ordering two combos from Portillo’s. After graduation, Mason plans to attend college to study architecture.
Donavan Esquivel has been involved in the golf program for the past four years and is the son of Gustavo and Lorena Esquivel. Donavan’s favorite memory of the PHS golf team was their Buddys stop after the match in Cardinal Creek. After graduation, Donavan would like to attend Med School and become either a neurosurgeon or trauma surgeon.
Joe Hasse has participated in the golf program for the past four years and is the son of Steve and Andrea Hasse. Joe’s favorite memory from the golf team was when they left the door open on the bus overnight during a thunderstorm! After graduation, Joe plans on playing collegiate golf.
