On September 13, Peotone Officers were dispatched to the 100 block of S. West Street for an accident involving a motorized scooter and vehicle. Manhattan Fire also responded. Upon arrival officers and Manhattan Fire met with all parties involved. A property damage accident report was completed, and the juvenile on the scooter was ticketed.

On September 13, Peotone Officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance in the 400 block of S. Third Street. Upon arrival officers spoke with both parties involved, de-escalating the encounter. Both individuals came to an agreement, and one party left the residence for the night.

On September 15, Peotone Officers responded to the report of a subject asking residents for money at 1000 Mallard Lane. Upon arrival at the area, officers located the individual described. Officers spoke with the subject involved, issuing an ordinance violation with a mandatory court appearance.

On September 15, Peotone Police located a stolen vehicle, occupied by an 18-year-old male, parked in the 600 block of North Street. The Peotone Officer took the individual into custody, transporting him to the Peotone Police Department for processing. Upon completion of processing, the suspect was released with a notice-to-appear in Will County Circuit Court at a later date for possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

On September 15, Peotone Police, while handling the incident of a stolen vehicle on North Street, inquired about an individual arriving to take possession of the recovered vehicle. Upon inquiry of the subject, the officer was advised of an active warrant out of Cook County. The subject was placed under arrest and transported to the Peotone Police Department for processing. Upon the arrestee posting the required Cook County bond and court date, he was released without further incident.

On September 16, Peotone Police responded to the report of a rollover accident at S. Governors Highway and S. Drexler Road. One car was involved, with injuries unknown. The 50-year-old driver was transported to Riverside Hospital and the vehicle towed from the scene. The male driver was issued four traffic citations: Driving while license suspended, improper lane usage-crossing lane boundary unsafely, failure to reduce speed, and transportation or possession of open alcohol.

On September 16, Peotone Police responded to a disturbance of a female and male arguing, reported in the 6000 block of W. Corning Avenue. Upon arrival, the officer spoke with both parties, with the female advising she had obtained a temporary order of protection just that morning. The officer confirmed the information and served the male subject with the order. The male subject left the residence without incident.

On September 19, Peotone Police met with a complainant in the 31000 block of S. 88th Avenue, in reference to three counterfeit $20 dollar bills received on September 18, in three separate transactions. The officer completed an initial report, securing the counterfeit bills into evidence, and requesting copy of video showing the transactions. The incident has been forwarded to the Peotone Investigation Department for follow-up and Secret Service notification.
