Friday the 13th proved to be an exceptionally beautiful day at the Manteno Veterans Home. What's not to like? It was a beautiful day, there were approximately 25 shiny tractors to view, plus an abundance of comaraderie provided by the Green Club. –Photo by Dan Gerber.

The Green Club, a non-profit group from Bonfield, paid the Manteno Veterans home a visit on Friday, September 13, with a tractor parade. They also took time to stop at the Veterans’ pavilion to chat with residents and show off their legacy tractors, with many of the residents recognizing tractors from their youth.

The group then proceeded on their tractors to Mayberry Restaurant in Manteno, for lunch. Thanks for taking the time to stop and see our Veterans!
