Illinois Lutheran Chargers: The Illinois Lutheran Chargers Golf Team won their match on Tuesday, September 10, on Cardinal Creeks’ north course against the co-op team of St. Anne and Clifton Central. The boys finished with a total of 195 to St. Anne’s 205. The Chargers leading scorer was Eli Potempa, who carded a 43 – continuing his solid play this season.
Blue Devil Golf: On Wednesday, September 11, the Peotone golf team had a triangle match against Bradley-Bourbonnais and Crete-Monee. BBCHS came out on top with a score of 168, while Peotone recorded 184, and Crete-Monee 217. Peotone’s Joe Hasse was medalist and carded a 40. The three other counting scores for Peotone were Josh Barta with 47, Gavin Costanzo – 48, and Andrew Barta – 49. Joe Hasse, Gavin Costanzo, and Andrew Barta birdied with a 2 on Hole 7 at the Kankakee Elks.
