On August 23, at approximately 4:42 a.m., officers were called to 6605 W. Monee-Manhattan Road (Amazon Distribution Center) for a report of a person who reversed their vehicle through the north-facing entrance of the Amazon building. Upon the officers arrival, they discovered the car sitting in the foyer of the Amazon entrance. Two subjects were checked for injuries but declined treatment, and no employees were injured. The driver was issued two citations for improper backing of vehicle and operating an uninsured vehicle. Officers filled out a medical reporting and re-examination request and sent it to the proper authorities.

On August 29, at approximately 3:40 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jeffery Vargas, 31, of Chicago. Vargas was issued citations for driving without a valid license, operating a motor vehicle when registration is suspended for non-insurance, having improper registration, and operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance. He was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.

On August 30, at approximately 9:46 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Juan Velasco, 39, of Berwyn. Velasco was issued citations for operating a motor vehicle when his registration was suspended for non-insurance, operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance, and driving while his license was revoked. He was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.

On August 31, at approximately 9:34 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of David Snipes, 56, of Markham. Snipes was issued citations for speeding 26-34 miles per hour over the speed limit, speeding 35+ miles per hour over the speed limit, driving with an expired license plate, driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, DUI-Alcohol, and DUI-BAC .08 or more. He was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.

On September 2, at approximately 1:33 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Sydney Smith, 23, of Chicago. Smith was issued citations for driving while his license was suspended, operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance, and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration for non-insurance. He was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.
