The City of Kankakee’s Economic and Community Development Agency (ECDA) will host a Community Conversation on Thursday, September 12, at 6 p.m., at the Kankakee Public Library, 201 E. Merchant Street. This is the seventh Community Conversation in the 2024 series for residents of Kankakee.
Kankakeeans are encouraged to attend with the purpose of providing personal perspectives about their neighborhoods, engage with neighbors, and learn more about programming available through the ECDA. An interpreter for our Spanish-speaking residents will be in attendance.
The discussion this month will be structured around setting city-wide priorities based on the needs we have already seen highlighted from residents through conversations from previous months.
