On August 14, at approximately 1:26 a.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Zakha Stevens, 17, of Park Forest. Stevens was issued citations for driving without a valid license ­­– never issued –and operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance. He was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.

On August 15, at approximately 1:35 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Jeffery Haggins, 40, of Hazel Crest. Haggins was issued citations for speeding over the limit, operating a motor vehicle when his registration was suspended, and driving while his license was suspended. He was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.

On August 18, at approximately 1 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Juan Vargas, 23, of Chicago. Vargas was issued citations for operating a motor vehicle when his registration was suspended and driving without a valid license – never issued. He was released with a notice-to-appear via his citations.

On August 18, at approximately 6:15 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Carol Baker, 53, of Chicago. Baker was issued citations for driving while her license was suspended and operating a motor vehicle without valid insurance. She was released with a notice-to-appear via her citations.

On August 22, at approximately 6:14 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Esmeralda Lozano, 19, of East Chicago. Lozano was issued citations for unlawful display of registration, driving without a valid license – never issued – and driving without valid insurance. She was released with a notice-to-appear via her citations.

On August 25, at approximately 5 p.m., a traffic stop resulted in the arrest of Derek Walker, 19, of Peotone. Walker was issued a citation for driving while his license was suspended. He was released with a notice-to-appear via the citations.
