OUTLOOK: Oak Lawn has not seen much success in recent years. The Spartans have won one game in each of the past two seasons not made the playoffs since 2009.
Coach Ryan Pattison’s team has just three starters returning from last season: Ryan Young-Klinger (RB), Faris Quantinani (OL) and three-year starter Christen Rienhardt (DE).
Pattison has high-hopes that Reinhardt’s experience and energy will help fortify a defense that allowed 25 or more points in seven of the Spartans’ eight losses in 2023.
Other notable players include Luke Mahoney, Alex Soto (WR) and Tadhg Walsh (QB).
Pattison believes this group has a lot they need work on, but they are motivated to make a change.
“We have a young and talented team that has the want and potential to change the program,” he said.
