Virginia A. Pressy (née Smieszek), 100, of Palos Park, died at home with her loving sons by her side.
She is survived by her husband, the late John Pressy, and the loving, devoted mother of Glen (Linda) Pressy and Gary Pressy. She was the dearest sister of Teresa Bozyinski (the late Norbert) and the late Lottie Fedyniak (the late Edward) and Lillian Smieszek. Virginia was a dear aunt to many nieces and nephews and a loving “dog grandma” to Cubbie and C.J.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, would be appreciated.
Family and friends will gather for a memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 30, at Sacred Heart Church, 8245 W. 111th St., Palos Hills. Private family interment will be at Resurrection Mausoleum.
