On August 2, Calvin Lomax, 56, of Matteson, was stopped after an Illinois State Police broadcast of a DUI and later located by a Beecher officer. Lomax was arrested for DUI and given an additional citation for improper lane usage. He was given a notice-to-appear and released after being processed.
On August 6, Lauren Vallone, 31, of Bourbonnais, was stopped for speeding and having a driver’s license that expired in 2020. She was issued a citation for that offense and having no insurance, then was issued a notice-to-appear and released.
On August 6, Robert Hammond, 42, of South Holland, was stopped for a vehicle equipment violation, and it was determined he had a suspended driver’s license. He was given a warning citation for the equipment violation and a citation for having a suspended driver’s license. He then was released on a notice-to-appear.
On August 7, Lillian Sampson, 19, of Grant Park, was stopped for speeding and was wanted on an arrest warrant from Saint Charles County, Missouri, and another arrest warrant from Kankakee County. She was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility.
On August 10, officers were called to 901 Dixie Highway for a crash. The driver of the only vehicle involved was Yuleika Morales-Vegas. It was determined she was never issued a driver’s license and was issued a citation for that, as well as for having no insurance. She was arrested, processed, and released on a notice-to-appear.
On August 11, Nichole Versetto, 37, of Bradley, was stopped for an equipment violation, and it later was learned her registration was suspended. She was issued a warning for the equipment violation and a citation for the suspended registration, then released on a notice-to-appear.
