In partnership with the Hines VAMC, Kankakee Public Library, 201 E. Merchant Street in Kankakee, is pleased to announce free, walk-in consultations with a VA representative on the third Tuesday of every month, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the third floor suite. The first event will be held on Tuesday, August 20.
Each month, one-on-one meetings will be available to provide assistance with questions regarding veterans’ concerns, including medical care and housing, as well as presentations on various VA departments and assistance processing applications.
